On July 6, 2024, we join the global community in celebrating the 102nd International Cooperative Day, themed “Cooperatives Build a Better Future for All.” This year also marks the 30th UN International Day of Cooperatives, propelling us towards the 2025 International Year of Cooperatives, as declared by the UN last year.
For over three decades, RapidClean has championed a human-centred business model, prioritising people above all else. Our approach empowers RapidClean New Zealand members to manage their owner-operated stores while receiving national support, enabling them to deliver exceptional local service.
We are deeply rooted in cooperative values—self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity, and solidarity. At RapidClean, we firmly believe that together, cooperatives can create a better world.
Throughout our journey, RapidClean has demonstrated remarkable resilience in the face of challenges such as pandemics, floods, and bushfires. Our members have continuously adapted, problem-solved, and fostered an economically efficient mindset.
Today, RapidClean boasts over 70 member-owned stores across New Zealand and Australia, leading the cleaning supplies sector and expanding every year. We collaborate with sustainability-conscious suppliers to offer goods and services in an environmentally responsible manner. Together, we create diverse employment opportunities while committing to the ongoing improvement of our environmental footprint.
We thank you for your continued support and business, which enables us to work together in building a better world. Here’s to a future where cooperatives continue to thrive and make a positive impact on our communities.
